Structural Project Manager

I’m currently working with a respected and growing structural engineering firm in Richmond, Virginia that’s looking to hire a Licensed P.E. with strong experience in structural design and project management. About the Role:

This role involves managing a variety of structural engineering projects, working closely with the drafting team, and ensuring deliverables meet the firm’s high standards. You’ll interact with architects, contractors, and clients, and have the autonomy to lead projects from start to finish—while bringing innovation and attention to detail to every phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple structural projects concurrently

• Oversee drafting coordination and structural design using Revit Structure

• Ensure project drawings meet company standards for accuracy and quality

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables from kickoff through closeout

• Attend client meetings and conduct site visits as needed

• Work collaboratively with project teams, including contractors, architects, and owners

• Apply innovative and out-of-the-box thinking to solve engineering challenges

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Required:

  • Active Virginia P.E. license

  • Demonstrated experience in structural engineering and project management

  • Proficient in Revit Structure

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Team-oriented and deadline-driven

  • Proven history of producing high-quality, reliable work

• Preferred:

  • Creative thinker with a knack for developing unique engineering solutions

  • Eager to grow professionally within a collaborative and innovative team
