My client is currently recruiting for a Fire Sprinkler Engineer in and around the London area. The main goal of this role is to sell the full portfolio of fire detection and prevention solutions and services to a range of customers and new customer prospects in the business-to-business market within the designated area.
Goals and Objectives:
The purpose of this role is to ensure all my client’s customers are serviced on time to the highest standards. You will provide a high level of customer service and mechanical solutions to ensure our customer requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
The Fire Sprinkler Engineer will maintain and service customer systems, specifically gas suppression, sprinkler, foam and water mist systems and report confidently and in detail on faults and recommendations.
The Sprinkler Engineer will manage your own workload to provide an effective and productive workflow and delivery of a high level of service.
The Sprinkler Engineer will ensure you are working to and fully conversant and compliant with all Health & Safety Procedures
Respond to client callouts, working on an out-of-hours on-call Rota (periodically)
Provide a high level of detail and accuracy to all documentation
Develop new and maintain existing relationships with clients. Be the face of my client's company.
Work closely with the Service and Operations Manager, Customer Service and Sales Team
Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to and understood
Qualifications/ Experience/Knowledge:
The successful Fire Sprinkler Engineer must have a solid amount of experience within a Service Engineer / Fitter (Mechanical Engineering) role, preferably working with suppression systems. Have worked within the field, amongst different sites/customers.
Be confident and professional, consistently communicating a positive customer/client experience
Hold a Full UK Driving License.
Personal Qualities and Behaviours:
The successful candidate will have highly effective organisational abilities, a good level of IT literacy and be an effective communicator. Ability to work under pressure with excellent time management skills and the ability to re-prioritise tasks to fulfil customer demand. An understanding of and ability to deliver high levels of customer service. Demonstrate ability and high level of communication to work with a remote team.
