The Fire and Security Engineer Role
The Fire and Security Engineer must be able to be confident in the installation of Fire, Intruder Alarm and CCTV systems, working in a variety of different environments including commercial and industrial. To be considered for this Fire & Security Installation Engineer position you must have:
* Good communication skills, timekeeping and customer service focused.
* Minimum of 2 Years installation experience.
* Able to work as part of a team of Engineers. Conversant with SSAIB/NSI requirements.
* ECS/CSCS - good knowledge of H&S requirements.
* A positive security screening and clean disclosure report.
* Willingness to travel (minimal working away) Completion of all necessary paperwork and maintaining an accurate and high standard of company documentation.
* Undertake reactive calls for fault finding and the repair of faults and “On-Call” rota duties.
* A full, valid driving license (maximum 6 Points) Advantageous product knowledge
* Intruder Alarms systems – Galaxy, Texecom, Orisec & Pyronix Fire - Advanced, Morley and Various conventional Panels CCTV – Videcon, Hikvision, Dahua, IDIS - both Analog and IP CSL Dualcom, BT Redcare and Emizon
* Good Network administration skills and good IT practices
