Department of Economic Analysis: Economic Theory and Economic History - Autonomous University of Madrid

The Autonomous University of Madrid is one of the overall leading academic institutions in Spain, with a young, modern and research oriented profile. The Department of Economic Analysis is composed of about 60 faculty members with a strong commitment to both research and teaching in the fields of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Economic History. The faculty members regularly publish their research in peer-reviewed international journals, participate in national and international research networks, and present their research findings in prestigious conferences around the world. Regarding teaching, the Department is mainly involved in the different degrees offered by the Faculty of Economics (Economics, Economics & Finance and Business Administration, among others) and offers an official Master in International Economics.
