A well-established consulting firm is looking for a Vice President – Site/Civil Engineering Practice Lead to drive the growth of its civil practice across New York. You’ll oversee major land development and infrastructure projects while building client relationships, mentoring engineers, and helping shape the firm’s long-term strategy.

This role combines technical leadership, business development, and team growth. You will guide project delivery, lead staff, develop new client opportunities, and ensure the practice continues to expand in key markets.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and grow the Site/Civil Engineering practice across New York

• Oversee design and delivery of site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater, and roadway projects

• Manage zoning, permitting, and regulatory coordination with municipalities and agencies

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships across public and private sectors

• Drive business development and help secure new project opportunities

• Mentor and develop engineering staff while building a high-performing team

• Ensure project delivery, quality control, and financial performance across the practice

• Represent the firm at industry events, associations, and client meetings
