What We're Looking For

This is a full-time hybrid position based in New York City.

The Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis, design calculations, and drafting while supporting infrastructure projects such as bridges, culverts, and utility support structures. The role also involves site inspections and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bridge design experience, including reconstruction and rehabilitation

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Technical Experience

• Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD design specifications, manuals, and standards

• Experience with CSI Bridge, SAP2000, STAAD-Pro, Load Rating programs, Mathcad

• Drafting experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for bridge superstructures (steel and prestressed concrete)

• Design bridge substructures with or without pile foundations

• Prepare engineering calculations and technical documentation

• Work closely with senior engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet industry codes, standards, and best practices
