Our client is well known for their international projects and award-winning engineering consultancy services, and they are currently seeking a principal engineer on a full-time permanent basis in their Leeds office.

The successful candidate will be contract managing on all delegated schemes, where liaising with clients and their representatives and attend design and site meetings will be essential. You'll prepare design solutions and manage the preparation of design calculations and drawings in accordance with the relevant design codes.

Other aspects of the role will include managing the costs and revenues on projects, complying with CDM regulations, keeping abreast of technical developments in the industry and training and mentoring less experienced Engineers.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be a qualified Civil or Structural Engineer, chartered or near chartered with the Institute of Civil Engineers or Institute of Structural Engineers. It is important that you can showcase considerable experience in a comparable role with a bias towards civil structures including bridges and ancillary projects.
