Structural Technician

Our client has been a trusted engineering consultancy for over 30 years and recently they have opened an Edinburgh office and as a result, they are looking to appoint a Structural Technician on a permanent basis.

This comes off the back off several successful projects wins and a desire to capitalise on the brands reputation throughout Scotland.

Although the Edinburgh is in its infancy, you will be joining a host of experienced engineers and technical experts – on hand to provide lots of support and training on Autocad, Revit and all things engineering.

STRUCTURAL TECHNICIAN PROFILE

• HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design.
• Strong practical knowledge of working with AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design structures using software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla.
• On occasion, attend site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical support to clients and team members.

ON OFFER

• £29,000 – £35,000.
• 5% Pension.
• Hybrid working model.
• Training and support.
• 24 days annual leave.
