We’re representing a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering firm with a strong national presence that’s seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join their growing team in Melbourne, FL.
This role offers the opportunity to lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction while working closely with in-house MEP, civil, and architectural teams. You'll serve as both the technical lead and client liaison—balancing design excellence, project coordination, and team leadership to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead structural design efforts on a variety of building projects, from initial concept to construction completion.

Serve as the primary structural contact for clients, project partners, and internal teams.

Manage project schedules, coordinate discipline tasks, and ensure quality technical execution.

Collaborate with other departments for fully integrated design solutions.

Represent the structural discipline in meetings, presentations, and technical reviews.

Mentor junior staff and support their technical development.
What We're Looking For:

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 9 years of experience in the AEC consulting industry.

Strong expertise in structural design and building systems.

Proven ability to manage mid- to large-scale projects or support large, complex efforts.

Skilled in project planning, task delegation, and design documentation.

Confident communicator with experience engaging both internal teams and external clients.

Familiarity with construction costs and value-engineering strategies.
