Structural Engineer (contract)

£42.00 - £45.00 per hour

We have just taken on an exciting contract role within a well-established, dynamic and innovative design consultancy based in Ipswich.

Projects include: Retail, Industrial, Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Education and more.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
• Experience working in UK consultancy;
• Previous experience working on a range of building structures projects, ideally in the retail, industrial or commercial sectors;
• Excellent client facing;
• Excellent knowledge of both British & Euro-Codes of Practice for Design and H&S;
• Proficient in use of Tekla.

Your role will be varied as you will be taking responsibility for the design & running of your own projects and attending design and client meetings where necessary, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.

They need a capable, independent structural engineer who has experience design in all major construction materials.
