Project & Client Involvement

  • Begin managing portions of projects including scope, schedules, and coordination with internal teams

  • Support client communication and participate in project meetings with architects, developers, and contractors

  • Assist with proposal development, fee estimates, and project planning

  • Coordinate across disciplines to ensure efficient and buildable structural solutions

Team & Growth

  • Mentor junior engineers and designers

  • Review calculations, drawings, and deliverables prepared by staff

  • Actively develop project management skills with a clear growth path toward Project Engineer / Project Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

  • 5–10 years of structural engineering experience (U.S. based projects required)

  • Experience designing large new build developments (multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, or similar)

  • Strong knowledge of Florida codes and permitting processes

  • PE license required (Florida preferred or ability to obtain quickly)

  • Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, RAM, RISA, SAFE, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills and interest in client-facing responsibilities

Why This Role

  • Clear pathway from Structural Engineer → Project Manager

  • Exposure to large, high-profile developments across Central Florida

  • Balanced role: remain technical while building leadership and PM experience

  • Collaborative team environment with long-term growth opportunities

  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and flexibility

Employment Type: Permanent. Sector: Civil & Structural. Salary Description: $90,000 - $125,000.
