A well-established structural engineering firm is hiring a Structural Engineer to support projects across the Newark area. This is a strong opportunity for a licensed professional with at least five years of experience who is looking to take on a lead role in design, analysis, and field investigations.

You’ll contribute to a wide range of work, including new construction, renovations, and forensic investigations. Projects include buildings and non-building structures for commercial, institutional, and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural design and analysis for a variety of systems and materials
• Assess the strength, stability, and code compliance of new and existing structures
• Conduct field visits, structural investigations, and prepare technical reports
• Review construction documents and engineering calculations for accuracy
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and third-party consultants
• Assist in hazard evaluations and risk mitigation efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 5+ years of structural engineering experience
• PE license required
• Proficient in Revit and structural analysis software (RISA preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and technical documentation standards
