SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

We are working with a well-established structural engineering consultancy who have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing team in Richmond. This role offers the opportunity to lead the structural design and delivery of a diverse range of projects while managing project teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing structural design, coordinating project workflows and ensuring that work is delivered to the highest technical standards within agreed cost and programme constraints. The position involves supervising the preparation of calculations, drawings and specifications, attending client and site meetings, managing project resources and ensuring compliance with relevant design standards, legislation and quality procedures.

Candidates should be professionally qualified or working towards chartership with the Institution of Structural Engineers at IEng or CEng level, with strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, Building Regulations and health and safety legislation. Experience using AutoCAD and structural analysis software is essential, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
