Senior Structural Engineer

Are you an experienced Senior Structural Engineer that has become bored designing residential blocks and commercial units?

My client is offering a Senior Structural Engineer the opportunity to work on a large defence project for a global engineering consultancy within their expanding central Glasgow office that is close to various major transport links.

Although the role is aimed at Structural Engineers based within Glasgow/Central belt the role offers an agile working approach that will be tailored to the needs of the individual and their schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful delivery of design projects across various sectors such as Education, Commercial, Industrial and/or Residential within the UK.

The office offers multidisciplinary design and engineering services on local, national, and international projects and play a leading role within some of the world’s most complex and challenging engineering projects that frequently exceed £500M.

There is a clear career pathway to Principal level and beyond with continuous support, mentoring and industry leading training programmes.

Key experience

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Chartered status
• Proven track record in engineering design delivery
• Sound commercial understanding of consultancy business
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Security clearance is required (this can be arranged by the business)
