SENIOR / PRINCIPAL FLOOD RISK ENGINEER

Our client is on the lookout for a driven Senior or Principal Engineer who thrives in leading technical teams and delivering civil infrastructure solutions that stand the test of time. From flood risk strategies to cutting-edge drainage design, your expertise will shape projects that serve communities now and in the future.

The Role:

• Lead and inspire project teams to deliver high-quality civil, drainage, and flood alleviation schemes with precision and efficiency.
• Guide technical delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring timelines, standards, and client expectations are met.
• Produce clear, professional Flood Risk Assessments and Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDS) Strategies.
• Represent the business at client and public meetings with professionalism and confidence, always well-prepared.

About You:

• A degree in civil engineering or related discipline, with professional accreditation (or working toward it).
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with a proven track record in technical leadership.
• Proficiency in MicroDrainage and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Passion for mentoring junior staff, offering technical guidance and support in their development.
