Senior Bridge Engineer

The Opportunity

A nationally ranked A/E firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Edison, NJ office, supporting bridge and transportation projects across New Jersey and New York.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead structural analysis and design for bridge and transportation structures

• Perform bridge inspections and site investigations documenting existing conditions

• Serve as Lead Designer on simple to moderately complex assignments

• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications

• Support construction administration — respond to RFIs and field conditions

• Coordinate closely with in-house engineering teams and architects

• Work with NJDOT, NYCDOT, and NYSDOT standards

What You Bring

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering

• 7–15 years of structural/bridge experience

• NJ Professional Engineer (required) | NY PE a plus

• Bridge inspection experience/certification preferred

• Strong understanding of applicable codes and agency standards

• Proficiency with structural analysis software

• AutoCAD required | Revit a plus

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
