Project Engineer

KAP Technical Project Engineer Job Description: We are currently looking to hire a Project Engineer to work alongside the Engineering & Transfer of Work Manager. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills particularly if they are coming in from other engineering sectors. This is a permanent roll with progression routes available subject to performance. Roles & Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Manage the introduction of new products and services into the business, including: * * * End to End project management including collaborations with all departments across the business and supply chain. * Project / Industrialisation plan creation. * Calculate and forecast raw material requirements and track receipt. * Interrogate and collaborate on tooling designs both internally and externally. * Robust key resource planning. * Manage the production release of new components. * Production tracking and communication to customers / stakeholders. * Manage and maintain customer schedules / deadlines with continuous dialog with the production management team. * Risk management. * Conduct lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Skills: * Competent in the use of Microsoft Office especially Excel. * Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a strong work ethic. * Previous experience in project management and or new product introduction. * Level 3 qualification in engineering or higher. * APQP/PPAP Experience would be good but not essential.
