Process Engineer (Client side) - Staff - London Location: London This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing client side engineering business supporting a prestigious, world first clean energy project. Role & Responsibilities * Checking the quality of engineering contractor design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications. * Develop the scope of work / basis of design for studies and projects. * Undertake and checking of process calculations. * Collaborate as part of the process engineering team. * Undertake work on client sites providing technical advice and operational support services. * Checking of process deliverables – PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, specifications, process descriptions, philosophies and narratives. * Supporting the supplier management and selection process. * Perform safety related calculations and provide input to safety reviews – What If, Hazop SIL Assessment, etc. * Utilise process simulation software as required for the development of process deliverables. Key Skills & Knowledge * Must be Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering. * Chartered status highly advantageous though not essential. * Experience in Oil & Gas projects during either conceptual engineering, FEED or detailed design - downstream / refinery projects of particular interest. * Previous site experience in conjunction with a design background beneficial.
