£50,000 - £55,000 plus benefits & car/car allowance

Our client is an industry leading firm offering construction services with a core specialism of buildings and civil engineering.

Their office in Leeds is seeking a principal engineer as their workload continues to grow and the office expands. As a principal engineer you will work on a vast range of construction and infrastructure related schemes, including many high-profile projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide design solutions, technical advice and engineering support on schemes which include both temporary and permanent works;
• Contribute to the delivery of more complex services;
• Temporary works design and checking, above and below ground in all materials, integrated with permanent works design;
• Tender stage and bid winning support;
• Technical assessment and review of 3^rd party designs;
• Manage and mentor more junior members of the team.

About you:

• Chartered or near Chartered, MIStructE or MICE;
• Interest or experience in temporary works design;
• Full UK driving licence.
