Our client is an established engineering firm with over 1000 employees UK-wide.

Recently, they have confirmed a 5-year plan that will see them expand their operations and develop the brand into becoming go-to for all things clean energy, defence and nuclear.

To deliver this successfully, they are seeking the appointment of several experienced engineers in Scotland.

Their pipeline of work comes from the NTSP framework and covers a wide range of interesting, complex and massive projects throughout the country that include decommissioning of sites, sea wall corrosion protection, nuclear and defence.

PRINCIPAL CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and contribute to the successful execution of projects in the Clean Energy, Nuclear, and Defence sectors.
  • Design validation of partially complete third-party work.
  • Seismic design strategy for seawalls.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.
  • Drive excellence in project delivery and contribute to the achievement of company objectives.

 

PRINCIPAL CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER PROFILE

  • Eligibility for security clearance is essential.
  • Must hold a UK passport.
  • Proven experience as a Structural/ Civil Engineer, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for working in the Clean Energy, Nuclear, and Defence sectors.
