Hvac Design Engineer

Role: HVAC Design Engineer Location: Onsite (Chelmsford)/ Hybrid working available Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 We're seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer with a background in Commercial Kitchen Design to join my client's team. As an established HVAC contracting company with over 25 years of experience, we're looking for a Designer to collaborate with Project Managers on various HVAC system designs primarily within the restaurant sector. What's Included: - Competitive salary based on experience - Support for ongoing training and education - Generous 28-day holiday allowance, inclusive of bank holidays - Complimentary on-site parking Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Projects Director, Project Managers, and CAD Operators to create HVAC designs following directives. - Develop Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals. - Conduct site surveys as necessary. - Receive in-house training as needed. - Participate in design team meetings involving project managers, contractors, clients, and architects. - Coordinate HVAC layouts with other trades. Qualifications & Experience: - Essential experience using AutoCAD in a professional setting. - A basic understanding of HVAC systems is needed. - Preferable experience with basic calculations. - Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. - Adaptability and a strong team-oriented work approach Job Type: Permanent. Salary: £45000 - £52000/annum + Benefits.
