£85,000 - £90,000 plus Car/Car Allowance

Do you have experience working on purpose-built student accommodation and high rise build to rent projects? Leading company with award-winning projects continues to enjoy success and expand their portfolio of developments.

As a result, they are seeking a candidate to work out of their London office liaising with the design team from conception to Stage 4/5. You will have at least 10 years’ relevant experience and be able to work with full autonomy, managing external consultants and ensuring deadlines are met.

The role:

• Lead external and internal project design teams, organising & coordinating design for sub-contractors
• Provide design management for schemes to ensure deadlines are met
• Manage budget and resources for projects
• Ensure accurate records are kept of all design changes
• Assist with developing a design delivery schedule
• Work closely with project Director to record design & cost issues

Requirements:

• Background in either architecture, design and construction management or architectural technology degree
• Experience as a Technical or Design Manager
• Up-to-date knowledge of construction standards and regulations, with practical knowledge of construction process
• Management experience
• Able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• Experience of Asite & Viewpoint
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft
