Design Engineer (Water Treatment)

The Opportunity Our client provides a range of services to major Water Utility companies throughout the UK and Ireland, including planning, design, manufacture, through to installation and commissioning. Increased work load has created a new opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer. The Role * Production of 3d models and drawings using Autocad and Inventor * FEA Analysis, CFD Analysis to prove designs * Ensuring Drawings are compliant with drawing process’s and standards * Production of standard products and proving designs using engineering calculations * Monitoring and upholding the standards of the drawing work produced * Production of Bom’s to accompany drawing packets * Work alongside other departments to overcome production issues * Ensuring weld procedures are present and correct on drawings * Mentor Junior staff Members * Attend Kick-Off/Design Meetings where required The Person * HNC/HND in Mechanical/Structural Engineering as a minimum * Engineering experience and understanding of technical drawings (Essential) * Use of Autocad and Inventor desirable (Training can be provided) Apex Resourcing Solutions is an employment business acting on behalf of this company Job Type: Permanent.
