We have a fabulous opportunity for a Chartered Civil Engineer to head the team in our client’s London office.

They are seeking a driven individual who has a track record of success, helping bring in business and expanding civils delivery. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the civil engineering division, overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from concept design through to construction and completion;
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth;
• Leading and mentoring a team of talented civil engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of performance and technical excellence;
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure seamless integration of civil engineering projects with other disciplines such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineering;
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain the firm's competitive edge;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and quality control procedures.

Requirements:

• A degree in civil engineering or equivalent;
• A Chartered Engineer status with a recognized professional engineering body;
• Strong technical expertise in civil engineering, with a track record of successful project delivery across a diverse range of projects;
• Excellent business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities;
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
