Bridge Engineer

We have an immediate need for a Bridge Engineer to join a fast-growing team in Edison, NJ.

This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who wants hands-on bridge and transportation experience — while also gaining exposure to building structures in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. You won’t be siloed. You’ll work directly with senior engineers and see projects through from investigation and design to construction.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform structural analysis and design for bridge and transportation-related structures

• Participate in bridge inspections and condition assessments

• Assist with site investigations to document existing conditions

• Perform construction phase site inspections

• Prepare and review design calculations

• Assist in the development of drawings and specifications

• Respond to RFIs and support construction administration efforts

• Coordinate with in-house engineers, architects, and project teams

• Gain exposure to steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems across infrastructure and building projects

• Contribute to projects ranging from small rehabilitations to large-scale infrastructure programs

What They’re Looking For

• B.S. in Civil Engineering

• 3–5 years of structural/bridge engineering experience

• EIT preferred

• Working knowledge of applicable bridge and structural design codes

• Experience with structural analysis software

• AutoCAD required; Revit a plus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
