ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CIVILS

Our client is seeking an engineer at Associate Director level to lead and grow its civil engineering team in London.

This strategic role supports major infrastructure and development design projects across a varying sector base.

The successful candidate will take ownership of technical delivery, client engagement, and project oversight—while driving innovation and team development. Strong commercial awareness, leadership, and sector expertise are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical and commercial delivery across multiple high-value projects
• Manage client relationships, project planning, and resource strategy
• Oversee design work, technical reviews, and risk management
• Mentor and develop engineering teams
• Support business growth and contribute to work-winning activities

About you:

• Chartered Engineer
• Proven experience at Associate or Associate Director level within drainage/water infrastructure
• Strong leadership, client-facing, and commercial management skills
• Proficiency in industry software (e.g. MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, BIM tools)
