About the Role:

As a Structural CAD Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the engineering team by producing high-quality CAD drawings for a variety of structural projects. You will work closely with experienced engineers and project managers, gaining exposure to both the technical and practical aspects of structural design, all while being trained and mentored as you grow in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and detailed structural CAD drawings based on engineering designs.
• Work closely with engineers to assist with the creation of drawings for various projects, including distilleries, warehouses, stadia, and student accommodation.
• Support the team in developing and refining structural design solutions.
• Learn and use industry-specific software systems as part of day-to-day tasks.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all technical drawings.
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Who We Are Looking For:

• HNC/D in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
• 0-3 years of experience working in the structural engineering or CAD sector (open to graduates or those with some experience).
• A strong desire to learn and develop within the structural engineering industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software (experience with 3D modelling or BIM is a plus).
• A keen interest in working on environmentally conscious engineering solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
• Motivated, proactive, and eager to develop your technical skills.
