A specialist rail organisation based in Greater Manchester is currently recruiting for a Software Architect to join a rapidly expanding engineering team with ambitious growth plans in the UK and internationally. As a Senior V&V Engineer you’ll take responsibility for Verification and Validation activities. The Senior V&V Engineer will demonstrate correctness and adequacy of the RAMS analysis, compliance of project deliverables, adequacy of the methods, tools and techniques used within projects, and correctness, consistency and adequacy of test specifications and executed tests. As a Senior V&V Engineer you must have experience in the following: * You must have a solid understanding of the systems engineering process and use of systems methods and tools, including requirements management and systems architecture. * You must have experience of V&V activities working in a safety critical environment. * You must have the ability to take a top-down approach to systems design taking account of various methodologies. This is a fantastic opportunity for a V&V Engineer looking to move into a senior role or a well established Senior Engineer. You will be an integral part of a rapidly expanding engineering team with a number of new and exciting projects in the pipeline.
