The School of Literature and Languages brings together the academic disciplines of English literature, creative writing, film studies, modern languages, linguistics, intercultural communication and translation studies.
We are ranked in the top three for modern languages and linguistics in the Guardian University Guide 2019, top five for Iberian languages in the The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019 and top 10 for creative writing in the Complete University Guide 2019.
