The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a well-established engineering consultancy in Aberdeen for a talented Structural Engineer to join their experienced team. You’ll be working across a variety of project types from residential developments to commercial and industrial structures delivering innovative engineering solutions from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural systems for a range of building types
• Prepare detailed structural calculations and design reports
• Produce technical drawings, specifications and documentation
• Conduct structural inspections and assessments as required
• Work closely with architects, contractors and other consultants to deliver projects
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards and regulations
• Mentor and support junior staff and apprentices, helping to develop their skills

Candidate Requirements

• BEng or MEng in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working toward chartership
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in structural engineering, ideally in a consultancy setting
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (for example Tekla, Robot or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards
• Excellent technical writing, presentation and communication skills
• Valid UK driving licence
