Senior Structural Engineer

Northwest London

Up to £75k DOE

Our client is seeking a senior structural engineer to join their in-house construction team.  You will take a lead role in managing and guiding a team of junior engineers to develop and deliver innovative engineering solutions.

Working on high profile projects, as a senior design engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing structural engineering and analysis of both temporary works and permanent structures during the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver value engineering solutions to optimize project outcomes
• Manage the production of project deliverables including models, drawings, and reports
• Maintain strong client relationships during both the design and construction phases
• Develop and evaluate construction sequencing proposals to ensure efficiency
• Conduct site inspections to verify the implementation of designs
• Perform assessments of existing structures to determine their suitability
• Mentor and support the development of junior staff members
• Contribute to team efforts and business development, including work-winning initiatives

About you:

• MEng or MSc degree from a Russell Group university
• Recently Chartered member of ICE or IStructE
• Consultancy experience is essential
