Structural CAD Technician

£30k-£35k plus benefits

We are seeking an experienced Structural CAD Technician to join a small, close knit design team based in central Edinburgh.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience using ArchiCAD and/or Power CADD software, however, training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to deliver on the role's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Producing technical drawings and detailing solutions for structural engineering projects.
- Assisting in the preparation of project specifications and reports.
- Conducting site visits and carrying out surveys as required.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high level of quality.
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail throughout all aspects of the project process.
- Supporting the wider team as required.

Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong experience in structural engineering, with a particular focus on producing technical drawings.
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials, their properties and appropriate use.
- Knowledge of ArchiCAD software or similar.
- Able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to a high level of quality.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience of working collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with Apple Mac is preferred.
