Call for Papers
The goal of the conference is to promote the exchange of ideas and experience among economists conducting quantitative analysis for policy and decision making in the public and private sectors. The conference will cover all areas of modeling and data science applied to monetary, financial, fiscal, energy, environmental, labor, trade and developmental issues.
The conference will be hosted by the Faculty of Business of the Yasar University. Colleagues who are unable to travel to Izmir will be able to present their papers virtually. Details of the conference are available on the conference webpage here.
You are cordially invited to submit your abstracts or full papers before January 31st, 2024.

Oral Presentation:
Papers accepted for oral presentation have 20 minutes for presentation to an audience and 10 minutes for discussion during parallel sessions.
Registration:
Registrations opens in early 2024.
The registration fee for in-person presenters is US$450.00. An early registration fee of US$370.00 is available if payment is made by March 31, 2024.
The registration fee for in-person PhD students presenters is US$290.00. If you want to benefit from this reduced fee, please send a copy of your student card via email to Patricia MacNeil (pat.macneil@ecomod.net) upon registration.
The registration fee for virtual presenters is US$225.00. An early registration fee of US$185.00 is available if payment is made by March 31, 2024.
The registration fee for virtual attendee is US$100.00.
Registration includes:
- Conference information / documentation
- Morning and afternoon refreshment breaks
- Conference lunches
- Welcome reception
- Gala dinner
The accompanying person registration fee is US$100.00. The fee covers:
- Welcome reception
- Gala dinner
Please note that the fee for accompanying persons does not include admission to the scientific sessions, coffee and lunch, or any conference documentation.
Confirmation of your registration will be sent after receipt of payment.
Registration cancellation policy
All registration cancellations must be received in writing via email to Patricia MacNeil (pat.macneil@ecomod.net) by the dates listed below.
- For cancellation requests received before April 24, 2024, full refund will be provided minus US$75.00 for administrative charges.
- For cancellation requests received between April 24 and May 24, 2024, a refund of 50% will be provided.
- No refund will be given for cancellation requests received after May 25, 2024.
- No-shows are subject to the full registration fee.
- Refunds will be issued within 30 business days after the conference concludes.
Conference substitution policy
Substitutions for the conference will be allowed at any time. Please contact Theresa Leary to request a transfer or substitution.
Publication
All the papers presented at the conference will be posted in PDF format on the IDEAS RePEc website, the largest global bibliographic database dedicated to economics. The copyright stays with authors so that they can publish the paper in any other formats.
