Asociatia ERMAS
The ”Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, National Bank of Romania and Babeș-Bolyai University are organizing the eleventh edition of the Annual Scientific Conference of Romanian Academic Economists from Abroad (ERMAS). The conference will take place from July 30 to August 1, 2025, in Iasi, Romania, being hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, ”Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University.
The Keynote speakers for the ERMAS 2025 conference are:
- Renee Adams, University of Oxford
- Michela Giorcelli, University of California (UCLA)
- Silvia Goncalves, McGill University
- Ioana Marinescu, University of Pennsylvania
Submissions across a wide range of topics in relevant fields such as economics, political economy, finance, and econometrics are welcome.
Starting with the 4th ERMAS edition, foreign economists may also submit papers, although the majority of the contributed presentations is intended to remain by Romanian economists with affiliations from either outside or inside Romania: the final proportion of presentation slots allocated for foreign economists will be determined by the Scientific Committee—based on the overall distribution quality of papers received for evaluation.
Complete papers (full or preliminary version) should be submitted to asociatiaermas@gmail.com by April 28, 2025. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by e-mail starting (around) May 12, 2025.
The deadline for the registration of accepted presenters is May 26, 2025.
