About the Opportunity:

A growing civil and structural engineering firm is seeking an experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to lead transportation infrastructure projects across New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to manage agency work, lead multidisciplinary teams, and support long-term strategic growth within a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead DOT and agency related bridge and infrastructure projects
  • Prepare and manage proposals for NJFOT, NJTA, and other public clients
  • Support forecasting and strategic planning efforts for the transportation group
  • Build and maintain relationships with subconsultants and teaming partners
  • Supervise bridge and infrastructure multi-discipline projects
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff and colleagues
  • Collaborate with colleagues across offices and disciplines to maintain efficient teamwork practice
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and billing processing times

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in bridge design and project management
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of New Jersey
  • Deep familiarity with AASHTO LRFD design standards and NJDOT design manuals
  • Hands-on experience with seismic design and analysis of bridge structures
  • Working knowledge of the NJDOT Capital Project Delivery Process
  • Proven track record managing transportation projects for public agencies
  • Experience preparing proposals and contributing to business development efforts
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior staff and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
