With a successful year almost behind them and an even better year forecasted ahead, our client is looking to make a key appointment in the shape of an Associate Engineer (Structures) in Edinburgh.

About the Company

A well-established name within engineering with a strong history of delivering projects across various sectors. They have a reputation for adopting a hands-on approach with clients where they provide engineering services from conceptual design through to construction and completion phases.

The Edinburgh Office

The largest of their offices with a current headcount of 60 skilled engineers and technicians. Typically, they assign 10 to a director – this ensures that all staff are supported, valued and understood – a key factor to their success as a business.

All staff are offered in-house and out of house training and support so even though you’ll join as an Associate, you’ll continue to learn and grow.

The Associate Position

The position is best suited to you if you are someone that is comfortable ‘running’ projects, ensuring that all deliverables are on time, to the highest possible standards and on budget.

As this consultancy has strong relationships with their clients, it is preferred you have a keen interest in business development in addition to technical design.

Skills/Competencies:

• Chartered status.
• SER Certifier status provides a distinct advantage.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent commercial awareness.
