Civil Engineering Masters Program

The Master of Civil Engineering will continue its tradition of educating students of diverse backgrounds, including traditionally underrepresented minorities and women. The department also commits itself to maintaining a diverse faculty of scholastic excellence and dedication to the highest quality education. 

The City College offers the following master's degrees in Civil Engineering:

  • Master of Engineering (M.E. Professional Master's Degree in Civil Engineering)
  • Master of Science (M.S. in Civil Engineering)

Program and Objectives
A Master's Degree in Civil Engineering requires 30 credits. Each of the concentrations requires a core of courses specific to it plus electives. The Department of Civil Engineering offers programs of graduate study concentrating in the following areas:
