Boeing is seeking an individual to lead Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RM&A) activities on one or more programs.
The work consists of leading and performing detailed RM&A tasks such as requirements allocation and verification, unit and system reliability prediction analysis, FMECA development, system modeling, and reliability growth testing. In addition, the selected candidate will be tasked to serve as a team resource contributing to definition of RM&A engineering design program fundamentals. The selected candidate will also assist with the evaluation of customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements and derived reliability requirements, as well integration of technical parameters to assure compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces to ensure mission success. These tasks are accomplished within a collaborative environment with other Boeing teams and businesses to assist with and/or plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system solution.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Typical Education & Experience:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's 14 or more years' experience, Master's with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience with electronic and mechanical component and system design.
- Experience using software to develop system models, and reliability prediction analyses.
- Experience in reliability program leadership.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with teams without oversight.
- Ability to independently develop solutions to complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience leading reliability efforts on multiple programs.
- Experience with DoD programs and customers.
- Experience with Reliability growth testing
