The High Frequency Technology Center (HFTC) within Keysight develops bleeding edge semiconductor technologies to power the test & measurement products that are the core of Keysight’s business. HFTC is constantly developing new semiconductor technologies while continuing to refine our processes that are already in production. The Semiconductor Failure Analysis Engineer is instrumental in this process, investigating failed components and providing feedback to the processing team on the root cause of these failures.
Live in beautiful Sonoma County amongst vineyards, redwood forests, rivers, lakes and coastline while working on state of the art ICs and devices. Keysight Technologies, the world's premier measurement company, has an opening for a Semiconductor Failure Analysis Engineer at the High Frequency Technology Center in Santa Rosa, California.
You will be part of a world class team pushing the state of the art in Compound Semiconductor analog, microwave, and mixed signal integrated circuits that define key performance specifications, thus enabling competitive differentiation in Keysight’s RF, microwave and mmWave instruments.
As a Failure Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for investigation and identification of failures in our semiconductor processes. Using a variety of tools and techniques including electrical measurement, infrared imaging, FIB/SEM imaging and atomic force microscopy, you will identify the most common failure modes in our processes and work with the processes team to gain a deeper understanding of the product we have developed and to eliminate these failure modes in subsequent processing.
This is an opportunity to join a group of engineering visionaries, explorers and inventors working together to deliver the products and services that enable our customers to become more profitable and competitive. What you’ll find here is dedication to innovation and contribution, trust and respect, teamwork and an uncompromising integrity.
