Manufacturing Engineer (Machining)

THE COMPANY An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join this growing organisation, part of a larger Group that provides precision engineering services to a range of industries including aerospace, defence, energy and automotive. They have recently invested significantly in new machinery. THE JOB You will co-ordinate NPI activities, implementing manufacturing processes, producing production documentation, conducting stage reviews and ultimately delivery new projects on time and to cost. You will also produce quotes and build relationships with both customers and suppliers. THE CANDIDATE Ideally apprentice trained, you will have significant machining experience especially with high precision milled and turned parts. You will have experience of setting up production trials and be able to implement 5S activities and use Cad/Cam software. THE PACKAGE Salary to £42,000 depending upon experience Pension scheme Life Assurance 33 days holiday Early Friday finish Ongoing training and personal development Job Type: Permanent. Salary: £35000 - £42000/annum.
