Facilities Planner Scheduler and Purchasing Coordinator

Kelly Engineering is currently recruiting for a (Contract to Hire) (Facilities Planner Scheduler and Purchasing Coordinator) job located in Fort Worth, TX. Provides general support to the Facilities Manager, in the areas of: planning/scheduling, asset management, inventory management. Primary roles are the management of all aspects of the CMMS System, repair parts inventory, and Record Retention Matrix.

Essential Functions:

Monitors, plans, and schedules equipment repairs and preventative maintenance, at regular intervals, to maintain and ensure minimal impact to operations

Processes and monitors purchase order requests for equipment, spare parts and repair

Assists with tracking of regulatory compliance documents

Ensures that CMMS records meets ISO standards

Documents all parts received, assigning part numbers, tags, ensuring proper labeling and storage of material

Enters parts information in database

Maintains/Updates database with current information

Reconciles and corrects database problem configure item list, as necessary

Decommissions Assets by processing part(s) for applicable disposition (storage, disposal, etc.)

Processes purchase requests and Capital Expenditure Authorization Forms

Routes request to management for proper purchasing authorization

Tracks purchases and enter closed purchase orders in Lawson software

Completes full inventory each quarter and submits report to Facilities Manager

Creates preventative maintenance templates in Proteus

Performs data analysis/reporting

Collects and analyzes available machine reliability data to identify trends and opportunities

Demonstrates commitment to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient and accurate use of the process

Communicates well with leadership, team members and other departments

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

College level preferred, or equivalent experience.

2 to 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or related field.

Intermediate in MS Excel

Previous experience with purchasing, Proteus, and CMMS systems desirable.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Good computer skills, ability to use Windows driven software; must be detail oriented and have the ability to perform matching (able to match handset model with replacement parts); ability to use basic precision tools
