What You Will Be Doing
-New product development
-Developing specific testing methods for equipment
-Working with agencies such as UL to assure compliance
What You Need for this Position
-Bachelor’s in Engineering with experience in motor design and willingness to learn brush free motor design
-Strong electronics knowledge OR 5+ years of BLDC design experience
-Knowledge of EC magnetic motor design.
-Ability to complete drawings, develop specifications, develop test procedures and work on regulatory compliance
-Experience designing EC type products (Single Winding and Three Phase)
-Some experience with: Permanent Magnet DC, Brushless DC, Shaded Pole and Permanent Split Capacitor induction motors
-Ability to work with Firmware engineering to develop and maintain code that meets customer requirements
We’d be really excited if you:
-Have experience with UL, CSA, C/ETL, TUV, CE and compliance agencies
-Have Motor Design experience with shaded pole, permanent split capacitor, permanent magnet DC, brushless motors and controls, programmable motors, voltage applications form 24 DC to 480 VAC
