About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our client, based in the Greater Manchester area or other locations such as Merseyside.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of projects, working closely with clients and leading design teams. This role offers a unique opportunity for significant influence on the direction of the business in the Northwest region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of structural engineering projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts across the Northwest, particularly in the Greater Manchester and Merseyside regions.
• Option to work remotely with flexibility or establish an office in your local area to set up and grow a team.

Key Requirements:

• Chartered or near Chartered status (CEng or IEng) with a recognised institution (ICE, IStructE, etc.).
• Proven experience working as a Senior Structural Engineer within a consultancy environment in the Northwest of England, particularly Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
• Strong technical knowledge in structural design and project management across a variety of sectors (commercial, residential, industrial, etc.).
• Existing network of contacts in the Northwest region is vital.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or within a team.

Our client is based on the Isle of Man and there will be regular travel to the head office.
