Job description
We’re looking for an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join a growing engineering firm in Orlando, FL. If you’re confident in producing accurate, detailed construction drawings and enjoy collaborating with design teams on high-profile building projects — we want to hear from you.
This role is ideal for a technically skilled, detail-oriented technician who’s fluent in Revit and looking to grow their career in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D structural drawings using Revit
- Collaborate with structural engineers to interpret design concepts and translate them into construction documents
- Prepare plans, sections, elevations, and details for commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings
- Coordinate drawings with architectural, MEP, and civil teams to ensure model integration and accuracy
- Assist with revisions, RFIs, and permitting documentation
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes, quality standards, and deadlines
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in a structural engineering environment using Revit
- Strong understanding of structural systems and construction methods
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Navisworks or Bluebeam is a plus
- Experience producing full construction drawing sets
- Clear communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and consistency
Preferred Project Experience
- Mid- to high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use buildings
- Renovation and new construction across concrete, steel, and wood framing
- Projects involving coordination with multiple disciplines and consultants
Compensation
$60,000–$80,000 depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.
