2022 6th Workshop on Energy Conservation Technologies (IWECT 2022)
Welcome to the 2022 6th Workshop on Energy Conservation Technologies (IWECT 2022). IWECT 2022, the workshop of EI2E 2022, is co-organized by Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering (APISE) and International Society for Environmental Information Sciences (ISEIS). IWECT 2022 was planned to be held in Suzhou, China during May 20-22, 2022. We warmly welcome prospected authors submit new research papers to IWECT 2022, and share the valuable experiences with the scientist and scholars around the world.
1) All the registered and presented papers will be published in the volume of conference proceeding of EI2E 2022 , which will be submitted to Engineering Village, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS) and other databases for review and indexing. (All is subject to the final publication and indexing results)
2) Selected papers with great extension will be recommended to publish in Journal of Environmental Informatics Letters.
Energy can be conserved by reducing wastage and losses, improvement in efficiency by technological upgradation and improved operation and maintenance.
Energy conservation are efforts made to reduce the consumption of energy by using less of an energy service. This can be achieved either by using energy more efficiently (using less energy for a constant service) or by reducing the amount of services used (for example, by driving less). Energy conservation is a part of the concept of eco-sufficiency. Energy conservation reduces the need for energy services, and can result in increased environmental quality, national security, personal financial security and higher savings. It is at the top of the sustainable energy hierarchy. It also lowers energy costs by preventing future resource depletion.
